What We Need From You

SET UP YOUR SHOPIFY ACCOUNT:

In order to offer variants (your books in different formats such as ebook, paperback, audiobook), you’ll need the $39 a month service.

Go to your SETTINGS page and go through each section to fill in the information regarding

PLAN is your monthly plan, you’ll want the basic for $39, but your first 3 months should only be $1 each.

BILLING this is usually part of setting up your account.

USER & PERMISSIONS can add us as STAFF with ALL PERMISSIONS, or just give us your login information from setting up your account. The email will be sent to you after you fill out the booking form.

PAYMENTS – you need to decide how your customers will purchase, and if you’ll accept Apple Pay, and other payment sources.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY  – what countries will you be shipping to? Once again, if you choose to ship outside the US and Canada, you’ll need to set up a way to collect VAT taxes (we do not handle any sales or VAT tax set up).

TAXES AND DUTIES – take advantage of Shopify’s fee tax service. They will let you know how much you need to pay each month. As for EU countries, you can set up the EAS EU UK app. We do not handle or set up any apps regarding VAT or tax collections.

MARKETS – many of my clients start with US and Canada until they feel more comfortable, but if you would like to sell in international markets, I suggest (only a suggestion) you only sell to countries where you get regular sales already from the retailers, like US, Canada, Germany, Spain, UK, Australia (to name the most common countries). There are so many countries that specialize in scams, you need to choose wisely.
